Terms of Service
Last updated: May 23, 2026
By using Tatva you agree to these terms. They're written plainly so you actually know what you're agreeing to.
What Tatva is — and isn't
Tatva is a personal wellness tool. It helps you notice patterns between what you eat and how your body responds. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Verdicts and tips are informational only. Always consult your doctor for medical decisions, especially if you have diabetes, liver disease, or any chronic condition.
Your account
You're responsible for the email or phone number you use to sign in and for activity in your account. Don't share your account with others — the personalization assumes one person's body.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
- Don't upload photos that aren't yours or that contain other people without their consent.
- Don't use Tatva to provide medical advice to others.
Subscriptions and billing
If and when paid plans become available, they will be billed through Apple App Store or Google Play under their respective terms. Free-tier limits (such as a maximum number of meals logged per day) may be enforced and are described in the app.
Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be highlighted in-app. You may delete your account anytime; we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
Tatva is provided "as is." We work hard to make it accurate, but we don't guarantee perfect identification of foods, perfect prediction of blood sugar, or any specific health outcome. Use it as a guide, not a verdict.
